The PAR 38 spotlight (PAR an acronym for parabolic aluminized reflector light to the uninitiated) was the inspiration for the streamlined shape of the Par pendant, designed by Broberg & Ridderstråle, with its slim top section and flirty skirt of a shade. Though this fixture is shaped like a bulb, its attributes stream far beyond the act of illumination.
