The shade of the fixture is available in aluminum or brass. The powder-coated versions come in white and anthracite black; and the metal finishes in which it is available are bronze, which has a beautiful patinated finish that exhibits a subtle texture; high-gloss polished bronze; and brushed bronze. The shade is also available in black, brown, cognac, and gray leather.

He also spent some time at the Design Academy Eindhoven, a school that nurtures the talents of many of the country’s biggest design stars. In 1994, he launched his own firm, beginning with window displays and then moving into interior design.
