The Bagobo O Small pendant by Ay Illuminate has a domed bamboo structure over which a handmade paper shade is fitted. The paper is produced in the Philippines by tribes living in Bagobo, a community along the eastern coast of the Davao Gulf. The derivation of the name is an intermingling of the words bago, meaning new, and obo, meaning growth. Because all of the materials that make up this pendant are natural, slight variations in the profiles of each fixture may exist.
