Brace Yourself, Lighting Fans: America Does Design at Warp Speed!

Global Lighting will be shaking the Tree with Grupo B.lux during HD Expo in Las Vegas beginning today through Friday at Mandalay Bay. B.lux will be showing their products in stand number 2125, so mark your show booklets if you plan to attend and be sure to stop by and see us. We will also be debuting our new publication ON at the show—filled with trend alerts, a slew of apps for architects and lighting designers, a pairing of some of our favorite fixtures from each of our collaborators with fashion-forward choices, and a Lookbook of the most popular and newest products we are bringing to North America for the coming year.

The ever-popular Tree Series, designed by Werner Aisslinger, will be on view in the B.lux booth, along with other new introductions the company debuted at Euroluce in Milan. David Abad additions to the manufacturer’s product releases will also be there, as well as new designs by Marco Bisenzi and new creations by Josep Lluis Xuclà. Harriet Ibarretxe says of the new products, “Our collaborations with designers David Abad, Werner Aisslinger, Belen Moneo and Ramon Fernandez Alonso generated a tremendous amount of buzz at Euroluce and I am sure the excitement will be equally dynamic when we unveil the new products in Las Vegas. Milan and Vegas are just the beginning of a remarkable year of introductions for B.lux so be sure to stay tuned for news!”

As the official lighting sponsors, we’ll be bringing WantedDesign to light with B.lux, Jacco Maris and Secto Design lighting. It kicks off on Friday here in New York City so be sure to stop by if you’re in town. If you see someone taking a look at our new publication ON, take a snap and tweet the image with the hashtag #GlobalLightingON for a copy of the magazine. We’ll bring you more details as the week progresses on the Global Lighting Facebook page and Twitter stream. See you at Mandalay Bay and/or the Terminal Stores. Don’t say I didn’t warn you that it’s design at warp speed: t think it’s time for me to go take my disco nap!
