Ann Porter, CKD, our Global Lighting blogger’s choice contributor today, has been specializing in kitchen and bath design in southwest Florida since 1998. “I first started designing homes and interiors with my Lego set,” she quips, pointing out how far back her drive toward design goes. “I think I have the best job ever. My clients appreciate my creativity, and together we take a journey that leads us from the conceptual design to a beautifully finished space, which is modern while being perfectly reflective of the purpose of the space.”
Ann—who also writes about design on her blog KitchAnn Style and contributes to the K+BB Collective’s Designer’s Corner on Kitchen + Bath Business Online—was one of the original Blogger19, a group of social-media savvy design bloggers who traveled to New York City in February 2010 at the invitation of Brizo Faucets to see the debut of Jason Wu’s latest collection during New York Fashion Week. The tradition continues, as a new group of bloggers hit town today for the latest incarnation of the Blogger19 legacy, likely walking on air, which includes Jen Duchene (author of Le Chic Cocoon), another of our blogger choice participants. If you notice a little sizzle in the air, New Yorkers, you’ll know what it is!
We thank you, Ann, design dynamo that you are, as we offer gratitude to all of our blogger choice contributors to date. What a talented group!
