Miguel Ángel Ciganda has been one of B.lux’s leading designers for more than three decades. An interior architect and industrial designer, Ciganda works from his studio in Pamplona, Spain, completing a wide range of projects—from small commercial to large hospitality venues—and products—from upholstered furniture to lighting fixtures. He has completed over 500 projects during his 40-year career, including bars, restaurants, nightclubs, resorts, spas and office complexes. Some of his best known products include the Headquarters of the Caja de Ahorros Municipal in Pamplona, the Spanish Pavilion at the Seville’s Universal Exposition, the Gran Hotel Costa Meloneras in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and the Hotel Jardines de Nivaria in Tenerife.

Of his career, Ciganda says, “In the more than forty years working in the world of decoration and design, this activity has given me the opportunity to carry out projects of all kinds, from the small shop to large hotel facilities, from upholstered furniture to the participation in the most sophisticated industrial processes.” His creative team includes professionals in architecture, decoration, graphic design and industrial design who design products and projects for more than 30 companies. We at Global Lighting are glad one of those companies is B.lux, whose products we bring to North America exclusively because Ciganda's Maite and Ondas lighting fixtures among those products.
